Nazir Manji Registered Provider/Proprietor

Nazir Manji is the Home Owner and took over the home in August 2006. He has a vast amount of management experience and his family have been involved in caring for the elderly for almost 25 years. Naz is an experienced Chef and enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of the home including training staff and maintenance.


Claire Avery Home General Manager

Claire Avery joined Bay House as the Home Manager in September 2006. The entire overhaul and improvements to the standard of care has been achieved through her inimitable approach in delivering her vision. She began her career as a student nurse on the wards and has many years of experience caring for the elderly. Claire is an accredited trainer for health and social care staff and enjoys her hands on role within the home.


Colin Diamond Facilities Manager

Colin Diamond has worked for many years in the care industry. He was first employed at the home in 1994 and was promoted to the position of Facilities Manager under the new ownership in 2006. Colin is also an experienced Care Assistant holding qualifications in Dementia Care and Team Leadership. He enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of care and provides all round support for the entire team.


Tanya Goddard Head of Care

Tanya Goddard joined the team in 2008. She began her career as a Care Assistant in the home where her mother was a manager. At the age of 16, she decided that care was where her heart lay. After working for many years as a Senior Care Assistant, she decided to commit to a career in Nursing. Qualifying as a Registered Nurse allowed Tanya to take on her current role with gusto. Her approach to care coupled with a commendable knowledge level has enabled many positive outcome for the residents at Bay House.


Dawn Richardson Catering Manager

Dawn Richardson has worked at the home since 1984 and now under 3 owners. In 2006 she was promoted to the position of Catering Manager. Dawn holds various qualifications relating to her role as well as to the management of her team. She has an in-depth understanding of the nutritional needs of the individuals in our care and shows great commitment in meeting those needs. She shows her love, warmth and passion for caring for her residents and this through her food.


Norah Trimmings Head of Housekeeping

Norah took over the position as Head of Housekeeping in 2009. She has many years experience working and managing teams in various other job roles as well as caring for the elderly. Her drive and commitment in maintaining a clean and well run home is unflawed. Norah, manages a team of four housekeepers and under her strict infection control guidance provides her residents with an clean, comfortable, safe and hygienic environment to live in.


Katherine Richard Business Service Manager

Katherine joined Bay House in the Summer of 2011. Following her 10 years in the care industry working as a care assistant and duty manager, Katherine’s remit is to provide systems support to staff as well as offering high profile presence to residents, relatives and our external agencies. Katherine will be part of the management team and may well be the first person to greet you when you phone or call.
