The Management Team at Bay House welcomes you.

Nazir Manji – Registered Provider/Proprietor

Naz founded Bay House Care in 2006: a model of care that challenges the old, inert approach to caring for the elderly. He has a vast amount of management experience and his family have been involved in caring for the elderly for almost 25 years. Naz is an experienced Chef and enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of the home including training staff and maintenance.

 


Tanya Goddard – Home General Manager

Tanya joined Bay House in 2008 as the Head of Care and gracefully progressed to the position of Home Manager in 2014. She began her career as a Care Assistant in the home where her mother was a Manager. At the age of 16, she decided that care was where her heart lay. After working for many years as a Senior Care Assistant, she decided to commit to a career in Nursing. Tanya’s strong leadership pushes the boundaries on high standards of care for those who call Bay House home

 


 

Colin Diamond – Facilities Manager

Colin Diamond has worked for many years in the care industry. He was first employed at the home in 1994 and was promoted to the position of Facilities Manager under the new ownership in 2006. Colin is also an experienced Care Assistant holding qualifications in Dementia Care and Team Leadership. He enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of care and provides all round support for the entire team.

 


 

Jun Qi – Head of Care

Jun has worked for Bay House for over 9 years on a part time basis and we are now proud to have her leading the care team full time as Head of Care. In her time working in elderly care Jun has worked for renowned healthcare companies and demonstrated a commendable track record of positive outcomes for those in our care.

 


 

Dawn Richardson Catering Manager

Dawn Richardson has worked at the home since 1984 and now under 3 owners. In 2006 she was promoted to the position of Catering Manager. Dawn holds various qualifications relating to her role as well as to the management of her team. She has an in-depth understanding of the nutritional needs of the individuals in our care and shows great commitment in meeting those needs. She shows her love, warmth and passion for caring for her residents and this through her food.

 

 

 


Samia Steele – Business Services Manager

Samia joined the team in 2012. Her working background has truly allowed herself to find the perfect role here at Bay House Care. Working for many years as a Paralegal and then switching to a career in care prior to coming to us has without a doubt best placed her in charge of the administration of the home. Her remit is to provide systems support to staff as well as offering high profile presence to residents, relatives and our external agencies. Samia is part of the management team and may well be the first person to greet you when you phone or call in.

 

 


Raluca – Head of Housekeeping

Raluca began working within the Care team in 2014 and it was clearly evident that she would climb the ladder quickly. Her previous experience in managing teams has surely helped her take on her new role with great enthusiasm. She has a team of 4 housekeepers who she keeps busy in maintaining a clean and safe environment for her residents to be cared for.

 

 

 


Dr Kerry Halliday – Lifestyle Manager

Bay House has changed its approach to the provision of Activities. Kerry provides a meaningful and person-centered programme of stimulating and interactive sessions for our residents. Whilst group activities and get-togethers will still play an important part of life at Bay House, Kerry spends time on a one to one basis with residents enjoying a game of chess or reading. Kerry holds a PhD in Psychology and Medical Sociology which has allowed her to embrace a truly holistic and pastoral approach to meeting the social needs of her residents.
