Nazir Manji is the Home Owner and took over the home in August 2006. He has a vast amount of management experience and his family have been involved in caring for the elderly for almost 25 years. Naz is an experienced Chef and enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of the home including training staff and maintenance.
Gillie took over the post of Registered Manager in January 2013 from her sister Claire who has moved to a new venture within the company. Gillian brings with her a wealth of experience in the Healthcare industry. Her approach to caring for our residents and developing her team bears the highest standards.
Gillie’s wish is to continue building on the good reputation whilst modernising the way care is delivered and placing Bay House Care into the heart of the community.
Colin Diamond has worked for many years in the care industry. He was first employed at the home in 1994 and was promoted to the position of Facilities Manager under the new ownership in 2006. Colin is also an experienced Care Assistant holding qualifications in Dementia Care and Team Leadership. He enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of care and provides all round support for the entire team.
Tanya joined Bay House Care as the Head of Care in 2008. She began her career as a Care Assistant in the home where her mother was a manager. At the age of 16, she decided that care was where her heart lay. After working for many years as a Senior Care Assistant, she decided to commit to a career in Nursing. Qualifying as a Registered Nurse allowed Tanya to take on that role with gusto.
Through her dedication, commitment and hard work Tanya was promoted to the role of Deputy Manager in January 2013.
Dawn Richardson has worked at the home since 1984 and now under 3 owners. In 2006 she was promoted to the position of Catering Manager. Dawn holds various qualifications relating to her role as well as to the management of her team. She has an in-depth understanding of the nutritional needs of the individuals in our care and shows great commitment in meeting those needs. She shows her love, warmth and passion for caring for her residents and this through her food.

Samia joined the team in 2012. Her working background has truly allowed herself to find the perfect role here at Bay House Care. Working for many years as a Paralegal and then switching to a career in care prior to coming to us has without a doubt best placed her in charge of the administration of the home. Her remit is to provide systems support to staff as well as offering high profile presence to residents, relatives and our external agencies. Samia is part of the management team and may well be the first person to greet you when you phone or call.
Zoe Redman - Head of CareZoe joined Bay House Care as a Registered Nurse in 2009 and was promoted to the post of Head of Care in 2012. Zoe’s background in mental health has delivered great outcomes for our residents who, as part of the aging process have significant memory loss and cognitive impairments. Her holistic approach to caring for our residents bears an open mind. Zoe leads a team of 25 care staff including the Registered Nurses and encourages them to adopt a Person-centred way of caring for our residents.
